 Courtney Thorne-Smith, an American actress, producer, and writer with an estimated worth of $8 million. Thorne Smith is best known as Alison Parker, on Fox's Melrose Place (1992-1997), Georgia Thomas (Fox's Ally McBeal) (1997–2002), Cheryl Mabel (2001-2009) and Lyndsey McElroy (1910-2015) on CBS's Two and a Half Men (2010-2015). Courtney has over 30 credits as an actor. This includes the films "Revenge of the Nerds II, Nerds in Paradise", (1987), "Summer School", (1987), and Cheryl Mabel in ABC's "According to Jim" (2001-2009). The actress is also well-known for her role in "Chairman of the BOARD" (1998) and the television series "Fast Times,"" (1986), Day By Day" (1988-1989) and "L.A. Law” (1990). Thorne Smith also created "Past Malice" which was a mini-series that ran from 2017 to 2019 and also published "Summer School" (1987), "Revenge of the Nerds II Nerds In Paradise" (1987) as well as "Chairman of the Board" (1998). She also served as a spokesperson for Almay cosmetics, the Atkins diet, and was also a spokesperson for Almay cosmetics and the Atkins diet, as well as "Fast Times" (1986), "Day By Day" (1988-1989), and "L.A. Law" (1990). Courtney was raised in Menlo Park, San Mateo County. She is the daughter of Lora Thorne who was a therapist and Walter Smith, a computer market researcher. Thorne Smith lived with her parents throughout different stages of her life following the divorce. Courtney's older sister, Jennifer, is an advertising executive.
