Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a clan of musicians. When she was a kid, she listened to classical music as well as the traditional boleros. She also listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana has a passion for the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. Ana began to study singing and play instruments as a child alongside her mother. She was given more formal singing instruction at the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. It was at the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. She performed on stage in Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities, both as a student and professional. The year 2000 saw her move in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2007, she relocated to her new home in Southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community thanks to her passion and passion for music. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently an instructor of The Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to have the opportunity to share with others her passion for traditional Latin American music. She hopes to inspire younger generations of musicians to keep the tradition in the present.
