Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress, best known for the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. The actress began her career in the 1980s. The role she played in the role of Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her incredibly popular. Her next appearance was in Dil which she was on screen with Aamir. As a young girl growing up in the middle class of Mumbai, she began to learn how to dance. While still a teenager she attempted acting, however most of those early films were unsuccessful. The actress gained fame and was one of the top movie actresses. She took a break from acting following her marriage before returning to the industry of entertainment. In the last few years, Dixit was a key player on Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit was awarded 8 Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. The actress was also honoured with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honour in India. In addition, she has been recognized by the social sector.
